Arts + Tech Competitions

Seed an innovative mindset through creative entrepreneurship

Our thoughtfully designed and methodical Startup Competitions will focus your learning community’s creative entrepreneurial thinking and innovative problem solving to a framework designed to bring business ideas to completion and inject them into the local market. The engaged learning community will build comprehensive business teams, learn to design dynamic business models, conduct market research, develop technology and web platforms, test their ventures against a world-class network of entrepreneurs, and compete for funds and connections to launch the best ventures into the local market.

In the case of the early stage startups, there will be an emphasis on education and experimentation within the context of creative entrepreneurship.

For later stage startups, we help move their businesses forward using our network of world-class creative entrepreneurs and BIG’s connections to global incubators, accelerators, and competitions with an extended goal of launching these businesses into the local market.

In both cases, teams will follow a methodical map towards a shared metric for success including targeted events, assigned mentoring, field research, and market testing. The teams will be mentored along the way by BIG’s experts and will culminate in a final DMEO DAY to a panel of vetted judges provided by BIG and the local community. An audience of peers, parents, and potential investors will be in attendance.

All participants will develop a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurship ecosystem that sparks global innovation.
